Announcing the third lan of 2008. We're focusing our efforts onto more organized gaming, more funny stuff on our projector and in general just more of everything you liked about L3.

Organized Games
Organized games are games where the majority of the administrators will host and join in to frag you all. Below is a list with the game, version that will be played, and the day that it will occur. Times are always hard to nail down, but we'll announce it just the same.

Most excellent! Should be a good LAN - we've been getting withdrawal after a long lazy summer . Looking forward to playing some classic LAN games - see you all there!

L3#39 Date!
It's been a pretty big trial getting a date for the next LAN - it seems every band on the planet is touring this year, going through Christchurch, and booking out venues. Still, we finally have a date for L3#39 - which will be at the Civic theater.

Friday November 2nd - Sunday November 4th

(yes I know that's in the middle of Uni exams - the next choice was back in December...)

LAN ON!
Well, we're packing up our last car-load and heading in to town now, so I guess we'll see you all there. It's going to be a primo LAN, things have set up rather nicely.

For those that missed how to get there etc, have a look at the:
- venue map- venue photos- rules etc for this LAN (parking, alcohol, BYO etc)Frag you there!

Server move
The L3 (and V3) sites have just moved server. If you notice anything oddly different to how it was a week or so ago, that's probably why .

On the upside, the server move gives us new versions of PHP and MySQL (5 and 5) to play around with... which will facilitate the next big change in the works for the site .
