Welcome to 2010 everyone!
Our first lan of the new year and as always it's going to be a biggie! Make sure you sign up now or risk missing out .

We've been very busy throughout the holiday period getting ready for #47 and hopefully you be able to see the results of all of our hard work at this coming lan. So get ready for some frantic gaming action, awesome food, a few crazy people and all the general goodness that you've come to expect from L3.

L3 is supported by Comics Compulsion, Dragon PC, GameStation, NimbleBit, South City Mall and Pulzar FM.

The Important Stuff

Something New: Internet
We are proud to announce that we now have internet available. The main purpose of providing internet is to allow people to log into Steam, check their emails and use light weight clients like mIRC. Everyone will get a cap of 50mb to use however they want, however once you exceed this cap you will no longer be provided internet. At this point we do not allow people to purchase more data blocks yet, but is something we will look at in the future.
Please make sure you have your Steam games updated prior to coming to the lan. (as updates will be too large to download)

Discounts within South City's McDonalds, Subway and Sushi Time
South City Mall have supported us by giving us 20% off if you purchase food from McDonald's, Subway or Sushi Time from within the mall. You'll be given three 20% discount vouchers with your ticket which you can tear off and use within the mall. If you need more, please feel free to ask us to print more for you.

Drinks to keep you up all night (ok, maybe the hot chocolate and Milo won't...)
We know how it feels to get thirsty in the middle of a busy lan. But have no fear, frosty beverages to sustain your fragging are here!

Phatputer's patented 'Kill and Grill' BBQ
We will be hosting two BBQ sessions.

The first one is held on Saturday 11am till 1pm. There will be free sausages, bread and tomato sauce but if you want to have steaks or anything special feel free to bring some along and put them on the barbecue. South City New World is really close by if you need to get anything.

The second one is held on Saturday 6pm till 8pm. There won't be any free sausages, but we are firing up the barbecue again to give people a chance to cook their own dinner. Nothing beats having a steak and a few beers just before having another night of fragging.

Car parks
We know how hard it can be to get car parks in town. We have nine car parks just behind our building for $10 each for the entire lan. Email James to reserve a car park.

DJ Hero!
It Returns! After a successful premiere at the last L3, DJ Hero will be back again (and if you bring along a guitar hero controller for the xbox360, we could do a DJ vs guitar match...)

When the fragging is done... prizes!
This will be held on Saturday night, and we have some fantastic prizes, including:
