If we can make enough room for it, and find a suitable place for the camera unit, it might work - at least during the day. If we have enough space to do it safely, it could be fun to give it a whirl...
as long as i can set it up correctly, it should be safe enough to have there. as for the technology, its infrared, so as long as the halogen downlights are off, i dont forsee any problems.
when i tried the kinect it was over sensitive... backround movement fucked around with everthing and made it hard to play, so if your planing on playing it by the projector like usual theres gunna be plenty of backround movement... seems rather complicated for a lan, much more of a party thing
Thats one of the things ive noticed when ive played it at home - background stuff does interfere with the game quite a lot.
That being said, ive been amazed at how responsive it is for some of the games. I have been playing a lot of Fighters Unchained (a mixed martial arts / street fighting game) and many of the moves do show pretty fluidly (basic kicks and punches, that sort of thing).
If we had a dedicated area for something like this, it has the potential to work quite well, but not at the moment because of the current projector layout.
I'm almost certain that the technology wouldn't work well due to the lighting conditions.

[its not my fault you suck]
You need alot of space afaik, dunno if we can spare much more than the extra meter or so i've made infront of the projector.
