Every forum needs a "Whats your favorite game of all time" thread :D Otherwise its just not a forum.
Mine would have to be Final Fantasy Tactics of the PSX (Playstation 1) it came out a few months after FF7, however made it to most best game of all time lists before FF7. It was one of those games with a very deep, addictive storyline, much better than any final fantasy game previous including 7.
It was re-released for the PSP, if you don't own it but own PSP... your crazy :coffee-toast:
Shogun Total War has remained a favourite of mine through the years, because you know how us half Japanese people are.....

dune 2 ate alot of my late tens-teenage life,
each time i found it on internet of thro a friend
i would spend months playing it, even recently re downloaded it and played for weeks
right up there with totala, yea low hit points ftw

Unreal Tournament, Command & Conquer Tiberian Dawn (I am making a remake of this!), Quake, Duke3D, Doom, there are just so many choices here!

Hands down for me its Half life and all the mods it spawned, played so many of them, Counter Strike, The Specialist, Vampire slayer, Natural selection, Team Fortress Classic, Sven Coop, Day of defeat..
as for a console game its Ninja Gaiden , only game that's actually a challenge and one where if you come up against a boss have don't have enough health things, you probably have to restart the game, I love it.

Haha I would argue that challenge statement, I seem to remember a very hard Castlevania or 2 :P
As for half life and the mods... some of those were amazing. That was a good era of gaming.

For me it would have to be Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing, I've explored every inch of this dynamic and compelling game, which ended in an astounding play length of almost 5 minutes. Hands down best game of all time.
