Entry
We'll be using the Entrance on Colombo Street untill midnight on both nights. After that the gate will be locked and the rear entrance off Winchcombe Street will be open. Vehicle unloading will be allowed directly in front of the building - but be quick about it as there is only space for three vehicles at a time.
Before the LAN
If you need to come before 6pm with your gear etc, you may use the area just inside the doors to store your equipment. You're welcome to wait in that same area or head off and do whatever. If you do arrive before 6pm, please don't disturb the Admins as we will be running around setting things up. Having said that - we would much rather you arrive after 6pm so to not inconvenience our neighbours.
Car Parking
L3 HQ does have its own car parks beside the building however there is only three and they are only for the use of the Admin staff. Do not park in the carparks beside the building or in South City Mall's car park - you will get towed. Unmetered/unsign-posted parking is on Welles, Walker, Wilmer & Bath Streets.
And be warned for those parking in metered or sign posted areas, you can be ticketed on both Saturday & Sunday during the day.
Attendees
When the doors do open please queue at the admin tables (in two rows) and register before bringing your kit in. It just makes things flow a little smoother rather than having people queue up whilst juggling cases and monitors. You will be given an armband and a piece of paper with your handle and various details printed on it (IP address etc). Once registered and paid feel free to zip in and out setting up. Please do not open the Secondary doors.
R18
If you didn't already know, L3 is an R18 event. At this event you will be asked to produce Proof of Age Identification, as any bar/liquor store would. There will only be three forms of Identification accepted, New Zealand Driver's Licence, HANZ 18+ card, or a Passport.
UA permits are no longer valid so you must be of age to attend L3.
