Hi guys- multi threaded post- do you have any other forums (like OCNZ) which are more utilized than this one? I can just about hear the tumbleweeds going by here... :eyebrows:
Also- regarding venue hire, what's the dealio? I'd be interested in 3 potential flavours:
1) Business- hiring as a training venue for a day/multiple days-
2) Casual- hiring for a night for RPG/table top gaming, maybe a movie- essentially a lounge away from home
3) LAN! I'm hardly likely to jump on the LAN wagon again as a regular thing, but still enjoy them (more on a social level than anything else)- last year had a Boxing day LAN at Rydges, and enjoyed it so much that doing a repeat performance this year, but thinking that it would be better to support the local community of LAN (ie you guys) rather than lining pockets of the hotels.
Finally- what was the deal with the switches/Vista Win7? My brain was a bit fried on Sat, and I wasn't paying attention. Was it an MTU issue- variable packet sizes that one or more of the switches couldn't handle?
