Hi guys I have just installed windows 7 and thought afterwards as you do can I partition that hard drive now or do I need to do a fresh install? Thanks
you can partition a hdd after you install windows 7, however its generally not recommended as you can corrupt data on the windows partition very easily. just right click on the "computer" icon in the start menu, and select "manage" - this will take you to the microsoft management console. from there, you can select the hdd, and run the partitioning wizard. just make sure you run a full hdd scan after the partition just to avoid any errors just in case.
