Following the Quake on February 22nd, the L3 venue is within the Christchurch CBD cordon. As such we don't know the full state of the building (although it's still up) or all our equipment. We've managed to briefly get access to the building once, but weren't able to salvage much. We know it has a green sticker, but it has only been externally inspected.
In the meantime, all events are cancelled. When the cordon reduces we'll be able to assess the gear and figure out if/when events can resume. Thanks for your patience, hopefully you're all safe and well.

Zone's 1 and 2 will be 'relaxed' on Sunday (6 March) from 8 am. From the looks of it, the venue building is right on the border. I'm guessing no access from Colombo st, but the other gate should be doable :P
Hard work never killed anybody, but why take a chance?
I'm still in the US as of today, but KingJackal has told me that they've recordoned the area that the venue sits in. It does have a green sticker on it, but the general area seems to be inaccessible. I will see what is going on when I arrive back in New Zealand.
