We provide patches and updates for games, operating systems and device drivers. We cannot, however guarantee the validity or stability that any of these patches provide.

We ask that competitors in tournaments and games at LANs own all copy written games, applications and operating systems that they use (open-source, shareware etc titles should have their respective legal requirements met). We can not authoritatively check for evidence of ownership simply because it would take too long, as there are too many hard-drives and too many portable storage devices at a LAN. We would like to point out to attendees of our events that piracy is copyright infringement, illegal - and it does hurt the consumer. As such, if we do find conclusive evidence of software piracy, we will take steps to eliminate it. We will not be held accountable for the dishonesty of those that do decide to skirt the law.

People take a risk when they bring their PCs to an event. Often their machines use expensive equipment, and can not be readily replaced. L3 can not guarantee the safety of your computer from theft, arson or other types of damage. We ask that attendees make use of  their friends to keep watch over their equipment while they're away. Also, if any attendee witness's theft or damage being willfully done to another persons computer, they should immediately inform any L3 staff, so we can take steps to stop it. Theft, arson and willful damage will not be tolerated, and will be dealt with as severely as is possible under the law.

We are aware that not everything may be covered here already. If you have a legal concern, please contact us.
